One thousand active seats. A thoughtful selection process.
The Core is being assembled around experience, judgment and useful capabilities. Applying early lets us learn about you while the foundation is taking shape. Admission depends on fit and review.
What we look for
Relevant experience: work that shows what you can do.
Domain knowledge: an understanding of the people and problems your work serves.
Quality and judgment: reliable work, clear evidence and responsible decisions.
Contribution potential: a capability that could strengthen HartBeat OS.
Collaboration: the ability to explain your work, respond to review and improve it.
The path
Apply with your experience → Application review → Interview → Scope and terms → Selection and agreed onboarding.
You do not need to create a custom deliverable just to introduce yourself. If an assessment or contribution is requested, its scope and conditions will be made clear first.
Core membership, employment and funded projects are separate opportunities. Each has its own requirements. Any continuing challenge or job campaign should be described separately with its confirmed rules.
Separate hiring challenge: existing announcement
The previously announced hiring challenge has a stated goal of selecting 10 Architects for potential paid remote part-time or full-time roles, and lists March 21, 2027 as its submission deadline. Role descriptions, compensation, hours, eligible locations, funding and final competitive rules are still being finalized.
This is separate from the 1,000 active Core Architect seats and the approximately 12 technical leadership interests described in CrowdBuild. A Core application is not a competitive challenge entry or a job offer. Confirm the final challenge rules and cutoff time before preparing an entry; no original deliverables are requested through the current application.
