About HartBeat OS

Built around human intent.
Architected for a changing AI world.

Our purpose is to help people turn ideas into coordinated business action. HartBeat OS is being designed to bring specialized Beats, applications, and automation together around the outcomes that matter to your business.

HartBeat OS is being built on a shared Beat framework, reusable Skills and tested connections to business tools. The mission determines the capabilities and number of workers required; people retain authority over goals, data access and spending.

Our Prime Directive · The foundation of HartBeat OS

Never harm humanity.
Protect human life. Preserve human freedom.

Human life, dignity and freedom come before profit, speed or technological ambition. These commitments guide the platform our customers use and the work our Architects contribute.

Richard Hart

Founding Architect · 0000

Richard Hart is an entrepreneur and the Founding Architect of HartBeat OS, designated Architect 0000. He established its vision and original architecture, and leads its development. His perspective starts with the needs of business owners and their teams: clearer direction, less repetitive work, better use of resources, and more room for growth.

His work on HartBeat OS centers on a practical question: how can a person describe an intended outcome and have the right Beats, tools, and workflows brought together to pursue it?

Richard’s vision puts people in charge of the mission. The platform is designed to handle the coordination beneath it—while keeping permissions, budgets, review, and accountability part of the process.

The idea behind HartBeat OS

Business owners should not have to become experts in every model, agent framework, or automation tool to benefit from AI. Their expertise is in their customers, their people, and the business they want to build.

HartBeat OS is being developed as an upper business orchestration layer: a place where intent becomes a plan, specialists receive defined work, and results return with evidence for review. Your hardware runs its operating system. HartBeat OS is designed to coordinate the work of your business.

What guides the architecture

Start with the outcome

Choose agents and tools because they serve a business mission. Define success before assigning the work.

Keep technology replaceable

Use supported adapters and interfaces so models, tools, and infrastructure can evolve without making one vendor the foundation of every decision.

Empower the human team

Give people more capacity for imagination, judgment, customer relationships, and growth. Keep consequential decisions under appropriate human authority.

Make control explicit

Build around defined access, budget limits, review points, and recovery. Local and hybrid deployment choices should follow the customer’s requirements.

Measure useful work

Evaluate accepted output, time recovered, expenses actually avoided, and operating costs. A larger bot count is not a business outcome.

Improve through evidence

Use approved context, reviewed feedback, and evaluated updates to refine workflows as the business and technology change.

From one mission to a broader business capability

The vision spans sales, marketing, competitive intelligence, customer service, HR support, development, documentation, and operations. The App Suite and Beats and Skills describe the capabilities being shaped around that ambition.

HartBeat OS itself is the initial business proving ground. The immediate engineering proof is a bounded inbox briefing by a separate Email Beat; approved educational content and audience building follow. HartBeat OS remains in development: planned capabilities, illustrative savings and future network concepts are not released features or verified customer results.

Our longer-term roadmap includes optional appliance collaboration and a creator ecosystem. Those possibilities follow the same principle: useful work, owner control, and clear evidence of value.

Your vision belongs at the center.

A conversation with Richard begins with what you want your business to accomplish: the work slowing your team down, the opportunities you want to pursue, and the boundaries your systems need to respect.

Your wish becomes the mission.

0000 marks the starting point.

Richard established the foundation so others could build. Through CrowdBuild™, the invitation extends to engineers, designers, researchers, creators, operators and industry experts who want to help shape HartBeat OS.

The first 1,000 people whose meaningful contributions are accepted earn IDs 0001–1000 in HartBeat 1000™. Alongside Architect 0000, that will make 1,001 founding Architects when all places are earned.

An Architect number identifies a place in the founding cohort. It is not a rank, permission level or ownership stake. Richard retains the separate responsibility of Founding Architect and final human authority.

Planned product inclusion: HartBeat OS is in development. The current catalogs describe 14 app areas and 60 planned capability profiles in an expandable suite, not a claim that every capability is released. Delivered capabilities depend on your plan, configuration and validated integrations. External services, model usage and custom development may carry additional costs.

SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

Trust belongs in the architecture.

Security, human authorization, and responsible data handling are priorities in HartBeat OS’s design. Our compliance roadmap starts with defining scope, documenting controls, and validating them with evidence.

Framework labels are educational—not audit or certification badges. HartBeat OS is in development; no SOC 2 report, ISO certification, or HIPAA compliance status is claimed. Vanta is a platform to evaluate, not an announced provider or partner.
